Morden driving test centre: routes and tips
Morden is Jude's home test centre. These are the things learners most often need to work on before testing here.
The kind of roads you will meet
Morden routes are mainly urban: busy A roads, bus lanes, pedestrian crossings, mini roundabouts and residential streets with parked cars on both sides.
You may also drive on faster dual carriageway sections such as the A24 and around the Rose Hill roundabout.
Where learners lose marks
Hesitation at busy junctions, poor positioning around parked cars and missing bus lane times are the most common issues locally.
Mirror checks before changing speed or direction are another frequent fault. Build the habit early so it happens without thinking.
How to prepare
Practise on the roads around the centre at different times of day, including busy school run traffic.
Do at least one full mock test with your instructor, with independent driving following road signs or a sat nav.
